醸造：天然酵母を使用し、24〜28度で発酵。最適な糖度になった時点で、アルコール度数77％のブドウのブランデーを添加。比率は果汁80％に対しブランデー20％。
A rich tawny-brown with aromas of nuts and hints of ripe fruit. It is light and delicate on the palate, beautifully round, with nuances of dried fruits, and a long elegant finish.
Otima is a modern style port that can be enjoyed anytime: a port for all seasons. It can be enjoyed as a lightly chilled aperitif or paired with cheese or dessert at the end of a meal. Its contemporary design gives it a broad appeal.

ワレは1670年にポルトガルに設立された最古のイギリスのポート会社です。オーナーのシミントン・ファミリーは古くから上質のポートを生産し続けてきた名門で、世界のプレミアム・ポートの1/3以上を販売しています。1882年にスコットランドからポルトガルに渡ったアンドリューJ.シミントンがベアトリスアトキンソンと1891年にオポルトで結婚したことから始まり、14代目となるメンバーが今も家族経営を守り続けています。シミントン家は1950年代にワレ家より株を購入し、以来ブドウ栽培から醸造、熟成、販売に至るまで全てを厳しく管理しています。ワインはドウロ・ヴァレーでもっとも優れた産地で造られており、骨格、力強さ、柔らかく芳醇な香りがワレの特徴です。特にヴィンテージ・ポートはその高い品質のため、世界中で絶賛されています。
Founded in 1670, Warre’s was the first British Port company established in Portugal. It’s no exaggeration to say that the history of Warre’s is synonymous with that of Port itself.
Owned by the Symington Family Estates, the world’s leading producers of premium Port and the only British Port companies to be entirely owned and managed by one family. The Symington Family is descended from Andrew James Symington who left Scotland for Portugal in 1882.
Today this company is still operated by the remaining six members of the Symington family, the 13th generation, where every part of the production is rigorously administered from the cultivation of grapes through to vinification, maturation, and sales. Warre’s premium wines are sourced from Quinta da Cavadinha and Quinta do Bom Retiro Pequeno, two of the finest estates of the Douro valley. Warre’s Ports are distinguished by their structure, power, and mellow, rich aroma and are renowned all over the world for their excellence.
