Chapelle de Blagny

ピュリニー・モンラッシェを見下ろす斜面に位置するブラニーの集落はガロ・ローマ時代から存在し、ブドウ栽培の歴史はシトー派のメジエール修道院がラングル大聖堂からブラニーの領地を取得した12世紀に遡ります。1811年に現オーナーの先祖が購入し、８代目のエティエンヌ・ド・ブルシャールが、最新式ワイナリーに隣接する15世紀の礼拝堂にちなんで名づけられたこの唯一無二の家族経営ドメーヌを守っています。

  

ブラニーの卓越したテロワールでサステナブルなブドウ栽培と生物の多様性を重視し、７ヘクタールの畑から複数のワインを生産しています。

 

ブラニーの畑は秀逸な白ワインの産地として知られているムルソーとピュリニー・モンラッシェのプルミエ・クリュを20％含んでいます。標高が高いためフレッシュな酸を保ったままゆっくりとシャルドネが熟し、結果として複雑さと完璧なバランス、素晴らしい余韻、そして快活さを兼ね備えたワインに仕上がります。

 

The hamlet of Blagny, located on the slope overlooking Puligny-Montrachet, has been inhabited since Gallo-Roman times. The first reference to vines here dates to the 12th century when the Abbaye de Maizières, a Cistercian abbey, acquired the Blagny estate from the cathedral chapter of Langres. In 1811, the estate was purchased by an ancestor of the present owners. Today, just like seven generations before him, Etienne de Brechard is charged with preserving the excellence of this unique family-run domaine, named for the 15th century chapel situated next to its state-of-the-art winery. 

Grouped high around the hamlet, Blagny’s vineyards encompass an impressive 20% of the Premiers Crus appellations of the celebrated communes of Meursault and Puligny-Montrachet, universally known for the excellence of their white wines. The high altitude allows the chardonnay grapes to ripen slowly, while retaining fresh acidity. The resulting wines combine complexity with immaculate balance, great length, and crispness.
