フランス・ブルゴーニュ地方ヴォーヌ・ロマネ村に位置するドメーヌ・ブルーノ・クラヴリエは、1988年にブルーノ・クラヴリエが祖父の跡を継ぎ、家族経営の5代目ヴィニュロンとして正式に設立されました。それ以前はネゴシアンへ販売されていましたが、ブルーノの代になってからは元詰め（ドメーヌ・ボトリング）へと移行しました。
ブルーノは、ヴォーヌ・ロマネ、ジュヴレ・シャンベルタン、シャンボール・ミュジニー、ニュイ・サン・ジョルジュ、アロース・コルトンといった名高いアペラシオンにまたがる6.5ヘクタールの畑を所有しています。いずれも非常に古く、収量の低いブドウ樹が中心です。創業当初からビオディナミ農法を実践しており、2005年には有機認証を取得しました。
細部まで配慮した持続可能な栽培と、伝統的な醸造を組み合わせ、テロワールを最大限に表現するための最小限の介入という哲学を貫いています。発酵は自然酵母による自発的発酵で、すべて上部開放式の円錐台形オーク槽で行われます。軽い手作業によるピジャージュと穏やかなルモンタージュを施し、その後マロラクティック発酵を経て、小樽で熟成させます。新樽の使用は控えめで、比較的古い樽を好みます。清澄や濾過は行いません。

Located in the village of Vosne-Romanée, Burgundy, France, Domaine Bruno Clavelier was formally established in 1988 when Bruno Clavelier succeeded his grandfather as the fifth-generation vigneron at the family's estate. The wines produced had previously been sold to negoçiants, but with Bruno at the helm, the domaine transitioned to estate bottling.
Bruno farms 6.5 hectares of very old, low-yielding vines across prestigious appellations in Vosne-Romanée, Gevrey-Chambertin, Chambolle-Musigny, Nuits-Saint-Georges, and Aloxe-Corton appellations. He has always farmed biodynamically, with organic certification achieved in 2005.
Meticulous, sustainable viticulture is paired with traditional winemaking and a philosophy that embodies minimal intervention for full terroir expression. Fermentations are spontaneous (indigenous yeasts) and take place exclusively in truncated, open-top oak vats, with light manual punch downs and gentle pump-overs. The wines undergo malolactic fermentation, and are aged in small barrels, with a preference for older oak. The wines are neither fined nor filtered.
