Pale straw in color with youthful green tints and brilliant clarity, this is a classic Clare Valley Riesling. On the nose, this Riesling is all lemons and limes with a hint of the seductive perfume. On the palate, fresh lemons and limes are perfectly balanced with crisp, natural acidity and a long-lasting refreshing finish.

キリカヌーンのオーナーであり、醸造責任者のケヴィン・ミッチェルがセカンドワインとして手掛けているのが、このザ・ラッキーです。
ザ・ラッキーという名前は、素晴らしい仕事をしているのに給料が安い、つまり非常にコストパフォーマンスの高いワインという意味をユーモアたっぷりに表現したものです。最良のブドウをキリカヌーンに使い、その残りをザ・ラッキーに使用している点ではセカンド的な位置づけにありますが、このワインにかける生産者の情熱は一番です。
The Lackey, produced by Kilikanoon, a boutique Clare Valley winery with an international reputation for producing regionally expressive, terroir-driven wines.
The name ‘Lackey’ is an affectionate Australian term referring to a hardworking laborer of agreeable character who is generally assigned to menial tasks, yet none-the-less gets the job done without the merest sign of a complaint.
Owner and head of winemaking, Kevin Mitchell has had winemaking experience in many international and domestic wineries.
